You must be at least 13 years old to use Plate. Please use the app lawfully, keep your account secure, and make sure the information you provide is accurate.

Plate turns food photos, recipe links, and notes into structured recipes with nutrition estimates and AI-generated visuals.

Plate is a cooking and reference tool. It is not a medical, diet, fitness, or calorie-tracking service.

Plate offers an optional Plate Pro subscription with weekly, monthly, and yearly plans. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store account.

You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store settings. Refunds are handled by Apple according to App Store policies.

Recipes, ingredient estimates, nutrition values, translations, and images may be generated with AI. They can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your needs.

Always check ingredients, allergens, cooking instructions, and food safety details yourself before cooking or eating. You use AI-generated content at your own discretion.

You keep ownership of the recipes, notes, and photos you create or upload. You give Plate permission to process and store that content only so we can provide the app to you, such as generating recipes, visuals, nutrition estimates, and cookbook sync.

You are responsible for making sure you have the right to upload or import any content you use in Plate.

If you choose to share a recipe to the public recipe collection in Plate, it may become visible to other Plate users. Sharing is optional and the app asks you to confirm before publishing.

Published recipes may remain available even if you later delete your account, but the link to your account is removed. Your original photo is not copied into the public collection.

Please do not misuse Plate, upload unlawful content, infringe someone else's rights, attempt to reverse engineer the app, disrupt the service, or use Plate to build a competing product.

Plate relies on third-party services for authentication, storage, subscriptions, analytics, crash reporting, and AI processing. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and policies.

We work to keep Plate useful and reliable, but the app is provided as available and may change over time. We may update features, prices, or these terms when needed.

If we make important changes to these terms, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Plate means you accept the updated terms.
